Interviewing/Screening/Reference Checking

All applicants wishing to register with C.D.H. are screened thoroughly. To verify the legal status of each applicant, all individuals’ register must provide a Social Insurance Number, confirmation of Landed Immigrant Status, or valid Work Permit. We conduct a preliminary interview over the telephone prior to booking an appointment with all candidates to ensure that we do not waste the valuable time of candidates seeking employment.

Candidates are interviewed by our experienced consultants who base their assessment of each candidate on the Resume presented, the completed application form, the interview dialogue, and the applicant’s presentation skills. This is an excellent opportunity to gather information from the candidate regarding the specifics of their experience and training, their oral language skills, as well as their preferences relating tosalary range, job location and type of employment. ** For positions that require both official languages, the interview is conducted using the applicant’s second language.
